Cañadón de la Escondida Field at the southern flank of San Jorge Basin is an oil producer since 1961. The productive units are Bajo Barreal and Castillo. The incorporation of reserves by primary productions wells can be critical in times of strong increase in drilling activity, with this premise it was proposed to study the potential in areas where known mineralized levels of the Fm. Bajo Barreal and extend in the vertical reaching the levels of the Fm. Castillo Superior that had not been contacted. Through geophysical interpretation (geophysical geomorphology), channeled zones have been identified that allow optimizing the development of deep reservoirs. This contribution aims to show the development associated with traps with predominance of stratigraphic control in the lower part of Bajo Barreal Fm. it and the upper levels of the Fm. Castillo
