520 _aThe existence of intrusive complexes in sedimentary basins has been documented in different parts of the world. Many times, they intrude in rocks rich in organic matter, which can result in maturation, as well as generating fluid migration pathways, hydrocarbon traps or act as naturally fractured reservoirs. The main goal of this work is to understand the temporal relationship between deformation and emplacement of the igneous rocks. The study was carried out in the southern part of Mendoza Province (north of Neuquen basin), more strictly in Loma Alta structure where there are igneous intrusions located in the Neuquén Group and Agrio - Vaca Muerta Formations. The structure is characterized by the Loma Alta anticline and the Vaca Muerta triangular zone. The identification and modeling of intrusives was carried out using seismic and borehole data. Structural sections were made in order to observe the growth of the anticline structure of Loma Alta and together with the radiometric ages of the intrusives, it was concluded that the maximum deformation of the area is coincident with the intrusion of the igneous bodies. Then, using the thin sections of the samples, the existence of two types of joints was determined: cooling joints and tectonic joints, which are important because they can function as fractured igneous reservoirs or as fluid migration pathways and subsequent loading of reservoirs
