520 _aThe objective of this study is to identify the frac-hit variables that influence the parent and child well productivity in Vaca Muerta field, as well as to share workflows and evaluation of Fracture Driven Interaction (FDI) observed in the fast-paced Loma Campana development project. This analysis was performed based on the frac-hits recorded during the stimulation of 18 PADs of Loma Campana, which included 107 parents and 80 child wells. The FDI interpretation consisted of analyzing the reservoir interactions (pressure communication) between parent and child wells, during child-well stimulation while parent-well were temporarily shut down. As a first step, we classified wells as being either parent or child based on the type of interaction. Secondly, we characterized frac-hits one-by-one to understand the parent-child interactions and to improve the understanding of the parent-child effect. The biggest challenge of this study was to identify the variables that have the highest impact on frac-hits, and therefore on parent-child effect and in well productivity, due to the lack of reliable simulation software capable of capturing the complex physical interactions in unconventional plays. The work presented on this study aims to improve parent-child characterization to mitigate the child production loss. The workflow proved a variable of frac-hits like intensity has a relationship with productivity and efficiency of fracture stage.
