520 _aChachahuén Sur is a large-scale field located on the eastern margin of the Neuquén basin which is under incipient secondary recovery. The development of the field began in 2013, after the exploratory and extension drilling campaign targeted at Rayoso Formation, a succession of early Cretaceous fluvial cycles. These cycles are truncated by the Intersenonian unconformity, which lies between the reservoirs of the Rayoso Formation and the shaly base of the Neuquén Group and works as a regional seal. The main production cycles correspond to cycles 2a, 3a and 1c, being the best properties and the largest areal development, the sandstone of cycle 2. In the present, 395 wells have been drilled. 76 of them are injectors wellbores and 47 more are expected to be converted. Towards the end of 2022, a polymer injection project is planned for the sandstone of cycle 2a using 50 injection wells, 41 of which are currently water injectors. Although water injection began at the end of 2014, due to several factors, it has been hard to inject water homogeneously through all the field in accord with conversions and flow rates required. Consequently, methodologies usually used to forecast potential optimizations and future behaviors are inefficient as they do not consider pressure behavior. Therefore, it has been considered essential to have a dynamic geo-modeling integral study (numerical simulation), representing geological model with its heterogeneities, saturations, hydraulic disconnections and, most importantly the pressure states related to historic production and injection achieved. An electro facies model was developed at first using well logs, core samples and detailed well correlations in order to have petrophysical parameters (k-phi laws, J curve, etc.); thereby obtaining a robust static model. From this point, the dynamic model moves forward by making use of assisted historical adjustment and probabilistic analysis, using the high density of data collected from the field development, reaching an acceptable historical adjustment and many kinds of forecasting scenarios
