520 _aWith the increase of drilling activity in different areas and the large number of people involved to define the final coordinates of the wells, it was decided implement a tool for monitoring the coordinates of the wells.Until now there was no automation or procedure for the validation of the well coordinates. The need arises from communicating the same coordinates to the different actors involved. It was developed a module called COORDINATE VALIDATION on an existing tool to record the history, from the proposal, approval and modifications that may arise until the final coordinates are obtained. The areas involved are: Exploration, Development, Environment, Drilling and Engineering. The procedure starts with the loading of the proposed coordinates in the application, and continues through the different levels of control and approval. The person responsible for measuring the location and approving the coordinate loads the monograph. When the final coordinates are approved this platform is synchronized with other databases.
