The remaining Cr content within the matrix was calculated using thermodynamic and phase diagram calculations (for multi-component systems [TPC]). Corrosion tests were performed in tannic acid, and the corrosion rate for these materials was investigated. A logarithmic two-parameter corrosion rate model with heat treatment as constant parameter could be found with a 98.9% correlation coefficient. It is shown that, considering corrosion rate, there exists a heat treatment parameter that is as important as the Cr matrix content. | ||
