520 _aTranscripción del abstract original del autor: The fly ash that is generated by municipal waste incineration facilities are highly hazardous and melting-solidification is thought to be the best available treatment method. However, recently these incineration facilities have been blowing slaked lime into their systems as an exhaust gas treatment and as a countermeasure against dioxins, resulting in an increase in the melting point of the fly ash. For this reason, it is problematic for the air combustion melting methods used currently to melt the fly ash on its own. To resolve this, three companies collaborated to create a test model for a natural gas fired oxygen burner with a high temperature flame that can efficiently melt fly ash blown into it, to carry out experiments with it, and to achieve optimization. Based on these results, a natural gas-oxygen burner with a flame shape suited for melting fly ash and an ability to reduce NOx in the exhaust gas was developed.
