| 520 | _aTranscripción del abstract original del autor: This paper details the study on the nature and the behavior of the fractured basement reservoir which shows strong regional variation in gas production. Through the study with the multi-disciplinary aspects, which include fracture analysis, stress evaluation and reservoir modeling, the productivity of the well was found to have close relationship with the heterogeneous distribution of fractures and stress regime around the borehole. The difference between the highly productive wells and low productive wells depends on how the well meets the clusters of the large scale fractures in the preferential stress environments. In the other words, if the well meets the cluster by any means, it becomes highly productive well. This paper also describes a strategy of hydraulic fracturing in deep seated fractured reservoir which has a potential to improve the performances of low productive wells. | ||
