520 _aTranscripción del abstract original del autor: Gas compressor stations of Gasum Oy are controlled and monitored by a DCS-system, separate from pipeline SCADA system, where all three compressor stations are connected and all process data are transferred to the dispatching centre for the operative purposes. Additionally, all the data is stored in the information server for later use as higher level reporting and trouble shooting. Each data point of the system comprises from several list format data items, cad-format application program and operator's instructions in text format. This all creates a documentary of more than 10.000 sheets distributed in 6 8 various locations, which has to be updated continuously. A database was created to store the basic data of each tag of the DCS-system. The list based data was transferred from the DCS-system's engineering servers to the same database and linked to the tag name. Cad-format engineering documents were left in the DCS-system's engineering servers, but linked to this database according to tag names. Furthermore, the text-format operator's instructions for each alarm tag was stored in a separate server, which again was linked to this database by tag names. The system allows an easy and efficient way to keep all control system related documentation updated and available to all users. Thanks to this system, Gasum is about to abolish several thousands of pages of paper based documentation and use solely this web based system. Additionally, the system will be developed further to enable an automatic update of tag based data from engineering servers to this database and build a direct link from the alarm displays to the operator's instructions.
