Although domestic gas producers have operated only 5 out of them for the storage purpose, increasing demand of natural gas will require taking full advantage of these reservoirs. For the same reason, feasibility of underground storage of imported LNG in them is now intensively investigated. The speaker will focus his presentation on these aspects in Japan. Several issues of natural gas storage in Asia will also be introduced. | ||
