| 520 | _aTranscripción del abstract original del autor: Biogas and gas from thermal gasification of biomass has until lately only been used for direct combustion in combustion engines or in boilers for the production of heat or electricity. The injection of biogas into the natural gas grid is now being studied in a number of locations in Europe and is also implemented at some locations. The incentive for distribution of sustainable gas on the gas grid has in most cases been a desire from the grid owner side to increase the possibility for the gas utility to market renewable gas. The main incentive for the producer of sustainable gas has been to increase his market for renewable energy and also to reach new markets for renewable gas. The main obstacles for gas injection into the natural gas grid are the costs for upgrading of sustainable gas to NG quality and also the lack of standards and general regulations concerning the injection of gases other than natural gas. Economic support for the use of sustainable gas for electricity production has also delayed the introduction of sustainable gas into the natural gas grid. | ||
