520 _aTranscripción del abstract original del autor: Based on a set of mathematical methods and computer software, a geofluid dynamics model has been advanced, which makes it possible to carry out a detailed quantitative analysis of generation and migration of hydrocarbons with due regard to actual geometrical and lithological features of formations and their strain, as well as analysis of variation in their thermobaric conditions. New geodynamic and fluid dynamic criteria were developed as required to be able to evaluate of prospects for oil and gas in various parts of sedimentary basins and to identify regularities of spatial distribution of hydrocarbons, as well as criteria for assessment of sedimentary basin gas potential.
