This presentation gives a brief description of the gas transportation development in the interior of Colombia and some insight to how the facilities expansion process has taken place. Colombia is a country that is geographically located in the tropics; in fact, the equator passes through the country. Colombia has managed to develop a vast reaching gas infrastructure in a relatively short period of time and without the benefit of the large heating loads due to the cold winters as found in most parts of North America.
