520 _aThe purpose of this paper is to evaluate the economic potential of oil fields located in deep-water Campos basin, under different cost structure and price scenarios, via-à-vis the government revenue share resulting from the current fiscal terms introduced by the new Petroleum Law. The outcomes show that the Brazilian fiscal regime is competitive in a world basis and the analysed oil fields are economically attractive under the scenarios most likely to happen.
