520 _aThe description of the reservoir heterogeneities could be described utilizing diverse tools, one of these, the gas chromatograph in reentry wells and new horizontal wells. One of these wells is located to the northwest of the field, the objective was the base sands of the Las Piedras Formation, with 1425 feet of horizontal section. The analyzed parameters were: the Gas Ratio, relying on these outputs it is possible to estimate the API gravity. The Wetness Ratio (Wh) involves the light and heavy part of the mixture, this parameter by itself, estimates the gravity of the analyzed fluid with certain grade of confiability. The Balance Ratio (Bh) compares the light an the heavy fraction. The Character Ratio compares the components of the heavy fraction.
