Online resources: In: Summary: This contribution shows a methodology that allows to ensure quality control of logging operations and the resulting open hole logs obtained, through a quality control system. It is intended to highlight the importance of an adequate quality control of the raw data obtained given the importance of these for a correct petrophysical evaluation in wells of the San Jorge Basin. The system uses a software application that facilitates the loading of both on-site supervisor observations and field data before, during and after the well logging process. It inputs the data into formulas that generate key performance indicators. These indicators are then continuously analyzed by an Evaluation Committee of Quality, allowing them to detect early warnings and identify recurring problems. Meetings between the operator and service companies are then set to review these findings. The end result is an improvement in both the well logging process and the subsequently acquired products. The methodology includes a training plan for technical teams that oversee well logging operations and analyze the final logs obtained from the service companies. This cycle of continuous improvement which results in identification of best practices and lessons learned help perfect the well logging quality control system
