Seismic characterization of complex reservoirs: Tobífera seriesNowadays Tobífera series is one of the main exploratory objectives in Austral Basin, Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego (Argentina and Chile island). It corresponds to Jurassic deposits conformed by volcanic and volcanoclastic bodies. High variability in emplacement and mineralization represents the main actual challenge regarding geological and geophysical characterization of this complex.In the present workwe introduce and describe a first approach for seismic characterization forTobífera series in fields belonging to YPF in Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego from recent well data acquired during the last drilling campaigns (2016-2018).Examination, selection and analysis of different seismic attributes was conditioned to the problematic of volcanoclastic reservoirs, focusing on those which allow finding a seismic model of depositation patterns.
