Online resources: In: Summary: Delimitation of a fluid contact determined by a flat spot amplitude anomaly, in the northern flank of Golfo San Jorge Basin, Argentina It is shown a methodology to apply in a possible gas-liquid contact through an analysis from the seismic interpretation in Golfo San Jorge Basin. Jurassic and Cretaceous formations are mainly silicoclastic and volcaniclastic minerals from fluvial and lacustrine depositional environments. These factors had generated a succession of interbedded sand reservoirs between shale deposits, where the reservoirs are mostly of few meters thickness, at the limit or below seismic resolution. All the area is cover with pstm seismic data recorded in 2000. The main objective is to identify the anomaly in pre stack and post stack seismic, studying the seismic character attributes for P impedance, frequency, amplitude, geometry attributes and waveform. The result shown enables the development of new wells looking for gas or oil in the future.
