To apply this methodology, it is necessary to have pressure sensors in the artificial lift systems, collecting the flowing pressure data with a determinated frequency. On the other hand, the daily production per well must be sufficiently representative to not introduce major errors in the interpretation. This paper will show that using type curves developed by Blasingame et al. (1991), it is possible to achieve an acceptable matching, compared with others methodologies normally used such as: Build-Up (to determine permeability and skin) and empirical decline method to determine Estimate Ultimate Recovery. This methodology has a wide range of application, from its use as a decision making tool to define stimulations, until its use for reserve estimation.
