CATHODIC DISBONDMENT IN HIGH PERFORMANCE COATINGS: EXPERIMENTAL AND NUMERICAL RESULTS

The cathodic protection system is assessed involving new and aged coatings. They are used as boundary condition to determine the potential distribution along the pipeline by means of numerical simulation. This assessment also aims determine the level of protection in the new segment of pipe and in the interface of aged and new coatings. It will be consider parameters such as physical-chemistry and corrosivity of soil.
