VACA MUERTA AL NORESTE DE LA CUENCA NEUQUINA Y SU APORTE EN EL ENTENDIMIENTO DE LAS VARIACIONES DE LAS PROPIEDADES DE RESERVORIO U1 - 068.82 553.28 C62 15730 N2 - The present work shows the interpretation and seismic characterization of the Fm. Vaca Muerta in a study area of 230 km2 in the northeast of the Neuquén Basin. In this position, the Quintuco - Vaca Muerta System has an average thickness of 400 meters and six third-order transgressiveregressive sequences are interpreted, of which four have already been tested as unconventional reservoirs. The main objective of this study was to identify and map the variations of the reservoir properties: porosity and total organic carbon (TOC), at each level of interest. To achieve this, it focused mainly on the seismic characterization and the incorporation of its results into the static model. Acoustic inversion was performed from a prestack merge and electrical profile information from 12 wells. A good correlation was observed between petrophysical properties and impedance P (Zp) for the levels of interest; for porosity and Zp, 82% was reached and a lower correlation, of the order of 65%, between TOC and Zp. For the construction of the low-frequency model, multiple regression techniques were applied in order to avoid the presence of artifacts. Once the inversion was made, a cube of Zp was obtained where the organic levels of interest are clearly distinguished with smooth variations without the presence of bull eyes. Finally, a cube of porosities was calculated applying, again, multiple regression techniques and they were incorporated into the static model.
