<subfield code="a">The Campamento 1 field is in the Neuquén Basin. The area has been producing hydrocarbons for several decades, which are hosted in the crystalline basement of the basin. The understanding of the play allows to interpret that storage is mainly in altered zones and natural fractures, while the later ones also generate the necessary permeability for its exploitation. The present work shows the effort carried out with the purpose of generating an understanding of the fractured system for building a subsurface model in order to optimize the last stages of the field development, and at the same time, can be used for the development of nearby fields with similar characteristics. In the case of this field, the outcrop known as Cerro Granito was interpreted as a valid analog, based on lithology, tectonic evolution, deformation, diagenesis and the distance between them. In the field work, the rocks, their alterations and degrees of deformation were characterized, as well as the types of natural fractures, their orientations, fillings and dimensions. Systematic and statistically representative data of the main sets were collected through scanlines. At the same time, detailed images were acquired by using Drones that allowed the realization of virtual outcrop models. Once in the office, the fractured systems were mapped on a 3D virtual outcrop and compared with the results obtained in the field. The parameters thus obtained were compared with those obtained after subsurface cores and borehole images and included as constrains in the Discrete Fracture Model of the reservoir.</subfield>
