The objective was to reach deeper objectives than the ones already exploited encompassed in a mature oilfield. The targets of this deeper play consist of fluvial and fluvial-deltaic reservoirs of the lowest section of Bajo Barreal Fm, Castillo Fm and the upper section of Pozo D-129 Fm. The reservoirs are trapped on anticline structures with faults oriented NW-SE. Primary results consisted of multiple reservoirs with hydrocarbon saturation and a progressive petrophysical degradation as depth increased, for which it was determined that in order to produce commercial volumes of hydrocarbons it was necessary to perform hydraulic stimulation on the selected reservoirs. In 2020 the re-completion of one of these Wells with targets in the lowest section of Bajo Barreal Fm and Castillo Fm yielded a better result than previously expected. This required a thorough analysis to define development feasibility on the mentioned reservoirs. Given that there are only a few Wells that reach the depths of interest, a seismic-structural analysis was decisive to define the study area. Estimations of OOIP had a probabilistic approach and they were based on a conceptual model of reservoirs with fluid contacts in common. A simulation was performed to estimate Well deliverability with a certain range of uncertainty and finally a field development plan was proposed in two stages: the first stage of data acquisition and a later stage of plain development UR - https://biblioteca.iapg.org.ar/ArchivosAdjuntos/Conexplor2022/Desarr-y-Sustent/desarrollo-y-sustentabilidad15.PDF ER -
