A basal reflector was interpreted as reference surface to the mentioned features. The horizontalization of the 3D seismic volume from this horizon allows to interpret the erosive surfaces and the morphology of the drainage network, both in the seismic sections and in the horizon time slices.Although it is necessary to continue studying to fully understand the controls that generated the incision and the prospectivity of them, it can be said that its generation may be related to upstream controls. The main characteristics of the paleovalleys, such as geometry, orientation, dimensions and their relevance as a possible oil evaluation opportunity for this sector of the Gulf of San Jorge Basin are described. Incised valleys form stratigraphic plays in different basins around the world, so they should be considered as an attractive opportunity for oil evaluation UR - https://biblioteca.iapg.org.ar/ArchivosAdjuntos/Conexplor2018/1096.pdf ER -
