Seismic clinoforms are documented below the seismic reflector assigned as Auquilco Formation, and above basement chaotic reflectors. Those sets of clinoforms are interpreted using sequence stratigraphy tools to get a regional insight about the temporal development of the unit in that location. The Cuyo Group consist of 5 elementary depositional sequence of 3rd Order, that involve parasequence sets in wich some system tracts are absent. Those paracycles are related to allocyclic and autocyclic processes. One remarkably feature is the presence of several forced regressions. These kind of parasequence sets could be linked to regional events, such as the extensional phase occurred during the early to middle Jurassic. That event was significantly different to the one experimented around the Huincul High at that time, wich was transpressional-transtensional. In this paper, a seismic geomorphological analysis is presented, in which a turbiditic channel-levee complex is interpreted with different depositional elements, such as channels, incised valleys and lobes, developed between the shelf and the basin floor. These elements were found along three different planes. Finally, a sequence stratigraphic model for Cuyo Group is proposed. The model predicts tracts related to forced regressions, that are expected to have good conditions as play concepts UR - https://biblioteca.iapg.org.ar/ArchivosAdjuntos/Conexplor2018/SRNC/1672.pdf ER -
