<subfield code="a">Coherence and curvature seismic attributes in fluvial reservoirs San Jorge basin is placed in mid Patagonia, southern Argentina with an intracratonic extensional origin. With the longest oil producing history in the country, it is composed of tuffaceous sands reservoirs of fluvial origin and primarily extensional faults affecting the whole sedimentary column. As a consequence of its mixed composition, most attributes are helpless in the process of interpreting the target channels. This situation leaves the interpreter only with experience as a tool to confront the task. The following work deals with the calculation of seismic textural attributes such as coherence and curvature jointed with a co-rendering technique to improve visualization of the fluvial reservoirs. Prior to the calculation of curvature, a 3D Gaussian Dip guided with edge detection filter is applied in order to improve the seismic coherency calculation without smoothing structural components. As a direct application to the attributes calculation a semi-automatic interpretation technique is applied. In this direction, the interpreter is left with a mathematical characterization of the seismic waveforms that define the target reservoir. As a conclusion, a workflow is proposed in order to improve the interpretation of fluvial reservoirs considering the calculation of seismic attributes, 3D visualization and correndering. Even though all of the techniques covered in this work are widely spread the combination of them brings up a new interpretation tool in the reservoirs analyzed.</subfield>
