    <subfield code="a">Transcripci&#xF3;n del resumen del autor: The influence of Cl- concentration on the corrosion behavior of AM60 magnesium alloy has been investigated by hydrogen evolution and electrochemical tests, such as open-circuit potential (OCP) curves, polarization curves, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The results indicate that corrosion resistance decreased with increasing Cl- concentration. There are diffusion tail and inductive arc at low frequencies in different sodium chloride (NaCl) solutions in EIS plots. The more concentrated NaCl solution promotes initiation of localized corrosion and the breakdown of surface film as shown in corrosion morphology and corrosion product. A corrosion model is proposed to explain the influence of chloride ion concentration on the corrosion behavior of magnesium alloy.</subfield>
