Being sophisticated in geology, they present a relative low yield per well, despite the high development costs; it is hard to actualize the economical, efficient development merely based on the conventional technologies. Through the focused tests deployed in almost two years, the technological route for such pools has been basically nailed down, in addition to a host of mainstream technologies targeted at them. Basically speaking, tight pools have attained the efficient development on a large scale, for which the main matching techniques involve well site optimization, sand fracturing for vertical holes, downhole throttling, gas gathering at low pressure, etc.; moreover, zonal stimulation for horizontal wells has obtained preliminary results in uplifting the individual-well producing rate, despite further study is necessary. In view of volcanic pools, technological breakthroughs are gained as to development with underbalance holes and horizontal wells; for Class I reservoirs, satisfactory results and effective development have been actualized, no matter by means of vertical hole fracturing or horizontal well development; for reservoirs of Class II or III, the situation is not satisfactory yet, for which hard efforts are expected as to reservoir predication, precision description of pools, and technology in raising individual-well producing rate. On the side of complex carbonate pools, eye-catching results have been obtained in improving the individual-well producing rate by horizontal wells; infact, high yield has been acquired in the zonal acid fracturing tests for horizontal wells, opening up an efficient way in realizing the large-scale development of the pools of the same kind ER -
