These products often contain hazardous ingredients and are nondegradable. By incorporating vapor phase corrosion inhibitors in naturally derived solvents such as vegetable oils and their esters, corrosion protection can be obtainded with environmentally friendly, biodegradable products. This article describes laboratory test and industrial applications of these inhibitors.</subfield>
