N2  - This report provides a record of the work undertaken by IGU’s R&D Task Force established at the beginning of the triennium 2003-2006.The Task Force was established as a result of concerns arising from a ‘perceived’ reduction in R&D being conducted either directly by or on behalf of gas companies in many countries. The Task Force was established with a remit to confirm recent trends in the conduct and financing of gas related R&D, to determine the reasons behind any changes which had occurred and to recommend any actions which might be taken by IGU
