N2  - This report details the work undertaken by Programme Committee D during the triennium 2003–2006. This report of Programme Committee D consists of three parts. The first describes the results achieved by the Committee Management with respect to the objectives assigned as part of the Triennial Work Program adopted in 2003. The second part consists of the detailed report prepared by the Vice Chairman of the Committee which gives the situation of the LNG industry worldwide in 2004. The third part describes the results achieved by the three Study Groups which have constituted the core of the activities of the Committee. The subjects relating to LNG are as follows: ; LNG Quality ; Safety and Technology Developments in LNG Terminals and Vessels ; The future of the LNG spot market. These reports have been the result of intense activities of PGC D members which were joined by a number of invited experts who accepted to participate in these studies. These themes which show that the LNG industry as a whole is experiencing unprecedented vitality and growth will be presented during the World Gas Conference at the PGC D Committee Sessions and Expert forums together with the contribution of a large number of authors. The approved Triennial Work Program, the membership of Programme Committee D and the meeting schedule of its members are listed in Annex 1, Annex 2 and Annex 3 respectively
