Inspection plays a significant role in meeting the challenges relating to extension of design life time of newly-built gas pipelines, extension of service life of archaic gas pipelines, forecasting of ecological after-effects, correction of specific problems caused by design flaws and providing profitability of trunk lines under changing market conditions. D Orgenergogaz utilizes intensively inspection techniques and tools to diagnose equipment and trunk lines. The obtained results are generated in the corporation-wide information system and used as the backbone to make statistical and analytical reports. The reports are circulated through OAO Gazprom corporation network with the help of Web-messages. They are used for decision-making during action planning to provide reliability of pipelines and gas compressor stations («high pressure lines» of gas compressor stations) in the frame of the general system of integrity of the Unified Gas Supply System of Russia ER -
