<subfield code="a">Transcripción del abstract original del autor: The model, which was developed by Delft University of Technology and Gastransport Services (the transportation company of the N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie) to predict the condensation behaviour of natural gas, has been extensively validated for the use with European natural gases. The European gases originated from various sources and are transported over long distances. The field test showed that the deviation between the measured and calculated PHLC-value is significantly higher for these European gases, compared to the results of three Dutch single source gases used during the initial model development. Most likely, these deviations result from the presence of heavy hydrocarbons not originating from the natural gas itself, the relatively large variations in the gas quality, and small discrepancies in the model. The large variations in gas quality and thus PHLC-values measured during the field test show that liquid drop out occurs under normal process conditions and that studies with respect to the condensation behaviour of natural gas are still an important topic for transport companies.</subfield>
