Moreover, a response to recent air pollution caused by diesel vehicles in urban areas such as Tokyo and Osaka has become a pressing problem and there is a strong desire for the mass utilization of clean energy vehicles to replace diesel vehicles in order to reduce the pollutants (including PM, NOx and HC). Under these circumstances, while we are hoping for a switch to natural gas vehicles, it is being said that their mass introduction is being hampered because their fuel economy in urban operations is not up to that of diesel vehicles. Therefore, we are proceeding with the practical development of a high efficiency, ultra low emission natural gas vehicle that can boost the value of natural gas vehicles as substitutes for diesel vehicles ER -
