<subfield code="a">Transcripción del abstract original del autor: Almost non-existent at the beginning of the century, natural gas industry knows a great development and does not cease taking shares of market on the other forms of energy. However, of expensive technical obstacles should have blocked development of this hydrocarbon without captive market, contrary to its competitors. In spite of these constraints, the natural gas seems to have a beautiful future. The international trade of natural gas is subjected to external pressures (such as competition of other energies) and its own constraints THE ECONOMICS OF GAS TRANSPORTATION -Pipelines vs. LNG vs. GTL's vs. Gas by wire- (in particular the importance of the investments necessary to the realization of the chains of surface or maritime transport). Actually, the key link, heaviest of gas industry, is transport. Indeed, if the equivalent energy of a ton of gas is comparable with that of oil (ratio of 0,9), the volume occupied by natural gas for the same energy quantity in the normal conditions of temperature and pressure is 1.300 times larger than that of oil. According to the great distance and natural obstacles (mainly maritime) which separates the place of production from that of consumption, the natural gas is conveyed either by gas pipeline, or by methane tankers, by wire in form of electricity or tankers in the form of products GTL. During this communication, we are interested about the problems of transport of natural gas to know which is the best means of transport of this hydrocarbon while taking account of the geographical situation of the reserves and the zones consuming as well as geopolitics of the large oil firms.</subfield>
