Thus market liberalization implies the distributors' central role in the new scenery, leading them to be crucial for the sake of good equilibrium and management in Trade Companies' (Shippers) relationships. While new technologies, thanks to the introduction of new measure instruments (AMR), lead not only to an improved customer management, which is now more flexible and efficient, but even to an exponential increase of metering data, that need to be managed properly. Together with metering (and other business applications), distributors are concerned with data coming from network management and from work management. All these informations have a common link with the geography; this allows to design an Energetic Distribution Information System (EDIS) that can manage all of them. Having constructed an information management model, it's possible to connect also an ehome services solution. In particular we have developed the solution named "E-home",specific for apartments, condominiums, single houses, small-medium shops and small-medium companies. The EDIS allows us to reduce the ROI of an AMR system, showing itself as a key factor for developing business in the new competitive market ER -
