    <subfield code="a">The following study makes a comparation between seismic artifacts caused by gas chimneys and noise signal in the acquisitions phase. This was done in three 3D and one 2D surveys, belonging to the neuquina basin. The anomalies that have been evaluated in this work are interpreted by other as "gaseous clouds". In our analysis, these anomalies are associated whit noise in the acquired and processed signal, possible related to quaternary terraces. Lines and section for processing of different years are compared, observing improvements in the signal-noise ratio in the most current processing; however the noise cannot be eliminated. It is recommended to consider the quaternary terraces, in the seismic acquisition designs.</subfield>
