The RPT diagrams (Rock Physics Template) are known as tools that allow to interpret lithologies, fluids and relate petrophysical properties of rocks. This contribution is focused at Rincón de los Sauces area, on the edge of the Neuquen Basin platform, analyzing the geological column from the base of the Neuquén Group to the Lotena Group. The data studied allows us to conclude that the RPT diagrams would not have direct application to Vaca Muerta / Quintuco Formation, due to the complex relationship between the petrophysical and lithological properties versus the elastic responses. The rest of the analyzed lithologies present simpler behaviors between the analyzed properties.
