The 2017 edition of CO2 Emissions From Fuel Combustion CD-ROM contains data on CO2 emissions from fossil fuel combustion, a major source of anthropogenic greeenhouse gas emissions. Emissions are shown by sector and by fuel. In general, data are available from 1971 to 2015 on a country, regional and worldwide basis (series start in 1960 for most OECD countries). These emissions were calculated using the World Energy Balances databases and the dafault methods and emissions factors from the 2006 IPCC Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas Inventrories.
