Transcripción del abstract original del autor: Tokyo Gas now executes either cut pipe branching or expanded diameter branching to connect a polyethylene main pipe and a polyethylene take-off branch with equal diameter. However, as it is necessary to install a bypass hose and shut off the gas when performing cut pipe branching, a large area is excavated, which increases the workload and time required. Meanwhile, expanded diameter branching has a limited range of application. Therefore, the Equal-Diameter Branching Method for PE pipe that has no limitations on its application range and can be executed more quickly and at less cost than conventional methods has been developed.
