Transcripción del abstract original del autor: This paper describes the challenges facing a small developing country,Trinidad and Tobago, at transforming its gas-based industry as it attempts to maximize the benefits of its gas resources for its citizens. The key challenges relate principally to: * Security of supply amidst ambitious gas demand projections. * Developing the secondary downstream sector to obtain the appropriate balance of gas utilization to maximise value. * Transformation of the State’s revenue pool into greater social benefits for its citizens. The paper addresses these challenges and analyses the significant factors that impact on the growth of the gas sector for the next twenty years.
