Perspectives of the LNG spot trade and transport market in East Asia in 2010~2015

But according to forecasted data, total volume of LNG Trade will be about 129.3bcm (base) in North east Asia in 2010. And the volume of LNG Spot Trade will be about 19.4~25.9bcm that is 15~20% of total LNG trade and this corresponds to the volume of 240~310 LNG (145,000m2) vessels. It will increase more rapidly than that of 90’s. Such a dynamic movement in LNG spot Market will have an important effect upon LNG long-term Contract. LNG long-term Contract has been reflected in recent new contract clauses as contract terms, resale options, destination clause, open ended contract etc which are already revealed. But there may be something that we did not think yet. Therefore we should prepare and watch the future LNG Market changes more carefully.
