Transcripción del abstract original del autor: This report embraces three chapters: recent developments and features of the Russia’ s gas market; the gas industry tariffs policy; liberalization of gas prices – a key to the efficient development of the Russian gas market. General presentation on the formation and development of the Russia’s United Gas Supply System, the specificity and operational issues of the System in today’s economic environment in Russia are in the first chapter. The second chapter illustrates major developments in the tariff policy in the gas industry and further sophistication of this policy. The last chapter dwells on the phase-by-phase gas pricing liberalization in details. The latter will help to further develop gas market in Russia based on the market-oriented principles.
