Transcripción del abstract original del autor: The project’s objective is to translate the larger part of the technological procedures of equipment repairs and maintenance and scheduled inspections of equipment operation into an electronic form that can be implemented in mobile hand-held electronic terminals. The software application is being developed so as to permit the maximum use of the DMS system, which is being considered for these purposes. The operations proper that are involved in maintenance, repairs and inspections on site are carried out in co-operation with on-line connection to the Transgas central database. Once the whole project is completed and commissioned, the maintenance staff will transmit information to and from the maintenance and operation control sites using hand-held terminals.
