Transcripción del abstract original del autor: Supervision, which had, up to now, been understood as an operational process, in charge of transporter companies, gained a brand new point of view – the shipper sight. Petrobras, the leader company in Brazilian’s Oil & Gas market, through its Natural Gas Business Unit, has developed the concepts around a Commercial Supervision process, which joins operational real time data with business contractual data, in order to increase profitability and achieve the best business results. Once the process was defined, it was clear it would not be feasible, unless an effective and integrated IT tool would come to support it. The definition of the process itself, the identification of the relevant variables to control, the team challenges, the main steps on the project schedule, the hits and mistakes along this successful project are presented and detailed.
