Transcripción del resumen original del autor: During the World Gas Conference in Nice, June 6 - 9, 2000, three Study Group proposals of Working Committee 6 were presented: Study Group 6.1 Gasappliances for the 21st century Study Group 6.2 Gassales and ICT (Information & Communication Technology) in the 21st century Study Group 6.3 / NGV 1 Gas as a Transportation Fuel for Today & Tomorrow During the manning phase, Study Group 6.1 and 6.3 were formed smoothly. The manning of Study Group 6.2 however caused too many problems, since the countries being front-runners in ICT related to gassales, specifically UK and USA, were not able or willing to nominate representatives for this study group. Therefore, although all kinds of efforts have been made in setting up such a study group, as quite some country members were very interested, we finally did not succed in setting up such a study group. As a consequence no report could be produced on this interesting subject. Parallel to the work of the study groups, a "Call for Papers" has been prepared on the basis of items discussed in the Working Committee. This "Call for Papers" was quite successful, as some 48 papers have been submitted, originating from 14 different countries. In addition speakers have been invited to make presentations during the WOC6 sessions, also panellists have been invited for the Round Table. The Working Committee had some 54 nominated members, including 16 alternate members. Some 10 outside experts were assisting the StudyGroups. During this triennium, three WOC6 meetings have been organised, in Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Bratislava. Study Group meetings have been organised the day ahead of these WOC meetings, as the majority of the WOC6 members were actively participating in the Study Groups, hence reducing travelling time and costs. In this WOC6 report, the study reports have been summarized.
