Resumen del autor, extraído del trabajo. Northwest of China includes four of the ten largest sedimentary basins and amount of moderate to small basins of China, which are the Tarim, Junggar, Qaidam and Turpan-harmy basin etc. All of the basins have attributes of orogenic-type basin. Studies indicate that orogenic movements not only provide filling sediment to basin, but also control structures’ formation, reconstruction and adjustment of basins. In paper, authors mainly consider the affects of orogeny-belts to geological characters of studied basin, especially the characters in margin of sedimentation, depression, structure movement and heat. On the basis of orogenic-type basin concepts, this paper illustrates the evolution of the circumjacent orogeny-belts how to influence the sedimentation, structure of the adjoin basins and under this facts to discuss the conditions of oil-gas generation, reservoir, seal, trap, migration and preservation.
