| Resumen | Transcripción del resumen del autor: In this paper, a compositional simulation was performed to generate production rate data of a gas condensate well in a real field in Iran here referred to as SA4. The laboratory experiments were used to tune the Peng-Robinson equation of state and acceptable convergences were achieved between the observed and calculated data. In order to select appropriate correlations for generating critical properties and acentric factors of heavy plus fraction, a comparison was made between different sets of most widely used correlations by simulating the PVT experiments done on the SA4 reservoir fluid. The effect of applying generalized pseudo-pressure model were investigated on gas and gas condensate well production rates. According to the results, the PR-EOS with the Lee–Kesler characterization method has the best overall accuracy for predicting the PVT properties of SA.4 gas condensate system. The total average absolute deviation percent between the calculated and experimental data was found to be 2.31% and 6.52% for the gas and gas-condensate production rates, respectively. Dependencies of production rates on pseudo-pressure calculations were stronger in the case of one grid reservoir modeling in comparison to the case of fine grid reservoir modeling. |
