| Resumen | Resumen del autor, extraído del trabajo. The Statoil Poster highlights the Åsgard Field development with it’s extreme natural conditions. Åsgard is Norway’s largest and most complex offshore project to date, and ranks as one of the world’s most extensive subsea developments. It’s seabed installations comprise 57 production and injection wells and 300 km. of in-field flowlines. These are tied back to the Åsgard A oil production ship and the Åsgard B floating gas platform. The Åsgard C ship stores oil and condensate. The project has challenged most existing technological limits. The developers have been have been required to adopt new and unfamiliar technical solutions and to qualify much innovative equipment even as work proceeds in engineering, construction and installation. Oil began flowing from Åsgard A in the spring of 1999. Rich gas exports are set to begin from Åsgard B in the autumn of 2000, using the 730 km. Åsgard Transport trunkline to Statoil’s Kårstø treatment complex north of Stavanger. From there, lean gas is piped to central Europe. Åsgard alone will supply some 10 billion cubic meters of gas annually from 2007, or roughly 15 per cent of the Norwegian deliveries. This development accordingly helps to strengthen Norway’s position as one of Europe’s leading gas suppliers. The field will also produce roughly 200 000 barrels of oil and 100 000 barrels of condensate per day, or about 10 per cent of the total Norwegian output. The poster will also highlight the diverless technology / long distance transport experience leading up to the Åsgard field development and where we go from Åsgard with respect to new technology. |
