Resumen In the actual scenario of "factory mode" on unconventional wells in Vaca Muerta Formation the use of information collected at surface during drilling operations have a positive impact to address the complexity of this target. The objective is to maximize, mud gas and cuttings data in the context of unconventional wells. The aim of this approach is assist in the petrophysical evaluation of "Shale" reservoirs such as the Vaca Muerta Fm for:a) TOC, gas analysis, mineralogy and chemical fingerprint for resources assessment.b) Mineralogy content and hydraulic fracturation relationship;c) Limitations & quality controls on surface information (mud gas and cuttings)Using as reference the previous job done at FP.x-1003 well at Fortin de Piedra Area in Neuquén province with the integration of new information to complement reservoir & completion evaluation on this well. For mud gas data, we are using the recorded mud gas by and Isotope Logging Service done by Mud logging services, with the chromatographic gas data in the range C1 to C5 and Methane Isotope gas data (d13C-CH4), which helps assess the quality of the hydrocarbons in formation in real-time and on a continuous basis. Cuttings measurements were done on 40 samples covering the four fracture stages performed on this well. These samples were analyzed for their mineralogical composition and organic matter concentration by diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier-transform spectroscopy (DRIFTS) developed by Schlumberger. In the same set of samples to determine the elemental composition on cuttings by quantifying all inorganic elements with X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis. This technique provides measurements from percentage to parts per million (ppm). The elemental composition is highly useful for chemostratigraphy. The mineralogy, TOC and geochemical information obtained were compared with laboratory data. Due operational reasons, was not possible perform logging, cutting information was used for the selection and design of hydraulic fractures. After years of data and production history and PLT information, the DRIFTS technique is added to the study with the objective of analyzing the behavior of each zone and its differencesThe surface data acquisition & evaluation will help on: ; Cost-effective approach for "factory mode" unconventional wells for mineralogy, TOC data and geochemical data acquisition ; Complementary source of information for Geosteering in horizontal drains ; Early insight on rock quality evaluation ; Data integration with other sources of information for completion operations.
